The future prosperity of India in the knowledge economy would increasingly depend on its ability to generate ideas, processes and solutions and the conversion of such knowledge into social good and economic wealth, with this aspect in mind KIA had organized Intellectual Property Rights Program in co-ordination with O/c DC-MSME, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India under the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Program (NMCP) .
